“After painting a completely black rooster, I worked on this white peacock. Contrary to popular belief, this peacock isn’t an albino, but has only partial pigment loss due to leucism.

Yet, I was able to once again play with color and detail in the magnificent plumage of this almost mythical bird. My love for the Jugendstil and Art Nouveau movements is also reflected in this work.”
